The Zell/Lurie Center regrets to note the death of William Zucker, Ph.D., on May 13, 2006. Dr. Zucker, the Meshulam Riklis Professor Emeritus of Creative Management at the Wharton School, was the founder and co-director of Wharton's Real Estate Center, the first such center of a major business school devoted to real estate in the United States. Dr. Zucker also served as associate director of the Wharton Entrepreneurial Center and director of Wharton's Executive Education Program for five years. A memorial service will be held in Cathedral Hall at Cathedral Village, 600 E. Cathedral Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19128 on Saturday June 24, 2006 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Habitat for Humanity-Philadelphia, 1829 N. 19th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19121.
