Dear Real Estate Alumni:

Welcome to the inaugural edition of the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center's alumni newsletter. Congratulations and thanks are due to Asuka Nakahara and the members of the Center's Executive Committee—Bob Lieber, Lizanne Galbreath, and Michelle Felman—for making this happen. Establishing an on-line community will benefit all of us. This is a great way for you to stay in touch with your fellow graduates as part of a strong and vibrant network. I also hope that this helps facilitate even greater interaction between you and our current students. Just as you benefited from the many interactions the Center provided with industry professionals when you were students, this new forum should provide a welcome link to each year's group of Wharton real estate graduates.
Thank you for all that you do for us, and have a very merry holiday season and a most happy new year.
Sincerely,
Joe Gyourko

The Wharton School's Real Estate Program has been fortunate enough to enjoy another successful year. We are pleased to be consistently ranked number one, and I believe we've earned and will continue to earn this accolade!
In light of this success and the strong interest of our alumni in staying in contact, we are instituting an alumni newsletter to keep you up to date on the latest news from the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center, the Real Estate Department and you, our real estate alumni.
The Alumni Web Page, including an online Alumni Directory, is up and running and a great way for you to be part of our Real Estate Alumni community. Class Representatives (see list here) have been reaching out to classmates to post their information, and so far several hundred graduates of the program have joined. If you have not yet done so, please add your name and feel free to forward to classmates (ID: alumni; password: 4wharton).
We are also collecting your news. Please send us updates on where you are and what you are doing both professionally and personally. If you have photos, be sure to send those along. Keep your information current-better yet, please find your way back to visit us on campus! We have a ton of great things happening here, as evidenced by the more than 400 students who are members of the four real estate clubs on campus—MBA, Undergrad, School of Design, Law School.
Finally, I am joined by alumni Bob Lieber, Lizanne Galbreath, and Michelle Felman from the Real Estate Center's Executive Committee. The four of us are responsible for further enhancing the Wharton real estate alumni network. We appreciate your enthusiasm and interest, so please feel free to reach out to us if we can assist you.
Best Regards,
Asuka Nakahara
