Establishing the Peter Linneman Fund for Teaching, Research and Industry Outreach
May 2011

Michael Fascitelli and Peter Linneman
We are establishing a fund in honor of Peter Linneman's retirement from the Wharton School faculty this spring. In recognition of his outstanding accomplishments in real estate education and his many contributions to the industry, we ask you to make a leadership gift to the Peter Linneman Real Estate Fund for Teaching, Research and Industry Outreach. Peter made significant contributions in each area during his more than three decades of service, including being the Founding Director of the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center at Wharton. Read a description of the Linneman Fund.
To reach our financial goal, we need a strong leadership group, providing a firm foundation and encouraging others to contribute. A number of industry leaders—including Dean Adler, Albert Behler, John Bucksbaum, the Count and Countess Arco, Michael Fascitelli, Lizanne Galbreath, Spencer Haber, Lewis Heafitz, Chaim Katzman, Christine Kwak, Eric Larson, Robert Lieber, Roy March, Bernardo Mello, Edward Minskoff, David O'Connor, Douglas Shorenstein, David Simon, Keith D. Stoltz, Alfred Taubman, and Sam Zell—have each pledged $25,000 to launch the fund. Naturally, this leadership group will be specially recognized in publications of the Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania, as well as when the fund is closed.
While we welcome you to join at the leadership level, we encourage gifts of all amounts. Peter Linneman touched the lives of many people throughout his career at Wharton, and whatever your connection, we hope that you will join in forever linking his name with Wharton and the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center.
Your tax-deductible contribution may be made on-line by credit card. Or you may pay by check to The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania and sent to Sarah Ashraf, Budget Administrator, Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center, 1478 Steinberg-Dietrich Hall, 3620 Locust Walk, Philadelphia, PA 19104-6302. Alternative options include wire transfer or gift of securities. Please call Ms. Ashraf at 215-898-3016 for those details. Finally, do not hesitate to contact either of us with any questions.
Sincerely,
