In October 2004, the Real Estate Internship Panel, second-year MBAs shared their perspective on the past summer of interning with real estate investors and operators. In the Real Estate 101 Workshop, Bruce Kirsch, Tom Nishioka, and Ephram Lustgarten presented an overview of the Real Estate industry to students interested in learning more about real estate. Panelists for the Real Estate Finance Panel on October 12 included: Julie Bauch of Merrill Lynch, on Investment Banking; Jake Reiter of Wells Fargo, on Public Equity; Jeff Conti of TIAA CREF; and Amachie K. Ackah of Lubert Adler on Private Equity, with Professor Joe Gyourko moderating.

The November 2004 Real Estate Development Panel featured Carl Dranoff of Dranoff Properties, loft rehab/developer; John Gattuso of Philadelphia's Liberty Property Trust; MaryAnne Gilmartin of Forest City Ratner; John Dewey of Dewey Homes, a large regional homebuilder. Panelists noted that good developers need to creatively problem-solve; an artistic sensitivity; the vision to create something that doesn't exist; to take raw pieces of land and create a plan that meets a community's needs and desires; and passion along with a sense of urgency and persistence. Asuka Nakahara moderated.

Dale Vanderlaan attracted a big class for his ARGUS training, expanding the session to four hours. Student feedback was thoroughly positive: "The Argus training was really useful. It was amazing that he was able to go over so much in such a short period of time."

In January, the club took Real Estate Career Treks to Northern and Southern California led by Roman Braslavsky, Tom Wang, and Joe Kewish. A Real Estate Master Class was conducted by Jeff Cowin. February brings mock interviews led by second-year club members, and a Cira Center Tour conducted by Andy Bush.
