Research Sponsors are also invited to Chicago on June 1, 2006 for a luncheon at the Avenues Restaurant of the Peninsula Hotel in the heart of the Loop District. The guest speaker is Richard L. Sandor, Ph.D. Dr. Sandor is often called the 'founder of financial futures.' He is the principal architect of the futures contracts on Ginnie Mae certificates and 30-year Treasury bonds at the Chicago Board of Trade, where he was chief economist. Dr. Sandor is currently chairman and CEO of the Chicago Climate Exchange, a self-regulatory exchange that administers the world's first multi-national and multi-sector marketplace for reducing and trading greenhouse gas emissions.
