Student and Faculty Awards Announced
The annual Student and Faculty Awards were announced on Tuesday evening, April 28, 2009 at the Spring Members' Meeting of the Zell/Lurie RE Center, held at The Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia.
The student award winners were:

- William Zucker Award: Jennifer Ambrosecchia, MBA; Daniel Axelsen, UG; Vaibav Vish, UG; Tsun-yan Yu, UG
First prize in the Seevak Student Research Competition went to the MBA team of Adam Cowburn, Marcus Lackey, Jackson Phillips, and Ahmed Wahedi, MBA. The competition was held April 17, 2009 and was judged by Richard Green, President and CEO, Firstrust Bank; James D. Motta, Principal, Triton Atlantic Partners; and Chris D. Wheeler, Principal, Triton Atlantic Partners. We thank them for their participation and extend our gratitude to the family of Center member the late Sheldon Seevak for funding this event for 24 years.

In Faculty Awards, the Ballard Scholars this year are Grace Wong Bucchianeri, Assistant Professor of Real Estate, and Todd Sinai, Associate Professor of Real Estate. Maisy Wong, Assistant Professor of Real Estate, has been named the Berger Scholar in Real Estate this year.
