2024-2025: The Year in Review
The Center announced a change in leadership.
The Joe Gyourko Pre-Doctoral Fund was established to honor Joe Gyourko's 27 years of leadership as Director.
In the fall we welcomed the Class of 2028 to campus.
This year's Ballard Executive Speaker Program brought eleven industry leaders to campus to speak with our students.
The Grayken Program in International Real Estate: Singapore Meeting, was held at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore.
Young professionals across the country gathered for breakfast and networking events hosted by the Center.
Our Research Sponsors gathered for dinner at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, with featured speaker Bilge Yilmaz.
The Fall Members’ Meeting: Endowed by the Ina and Lewis Heafitz Fund for the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center, was held on October 25, 2024, at the Inn at Penn.
Our Career Mentor Program connected students with industry leaders.
The Center offered Argus trainings for students.
The Center facilitated career connections through both its in-person and virtual Career Fairs.
The Eric and Beth Schlager Lecture Series featured David Helfand, Chair, CEO, and President, Equity Commonwealth.
Research Sponsors met in New York City with Featured Speaker Jeff Blau.
The five student real estate clubs held many treks and club events.
The Center ackowledges graduating Club Presidents and Officers.
The Helfand Bluhm Fellowship continued to grow.
The Center organized recruitment panels to support students in their job search.
The Spring Members’ Meeting was held at The Rittenhouse on April 24 and 25, 2025.
We congratulated this year’s student scholarship and award winners.
The Grayken Program in International Real Estate: London Meeting, was held at the Royal Automobile Club in London.
In May we said farewell to the Class of 2025.
