On September 10, 2025, the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center hosted the Grayken Program in International Real Estate at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore. As part of the Center’s broader initiatives to connect global real estate leaders, the event featured a keynote address from Kathleen McCarthy, Global Co-Head of Real Estate, Blackstone, and three high-level panel discussions. The first session, “Geopolitics & Capital: Investing in an Uncertain World,” featured Alex Katz, Andrew Staples, and Associate Professor Simon Tay, and was moderated by Charlene Huang. The next panel titled “Where Should You be Investing in the Capital Stack?” featured Steve McElwain, Martin Seol, and Audrey The, and was moderated by Mark Chu. The program concluded with a deep dive into infrastructure during the “What Do the Hyperscalers Think?” panel with Heather Laurie and Rob Lomas, moderated by Dalmar Sheikh.
