Kavindi Wickremage, a Senior Advisor at Bain Capital Real Estate (BCRE), was a founding Partner of the BCRE platform, established through the spin-off of Harvard Management Company’s Real Estate platform. As a Partner, she led the U.S. Living Strategies and legacy retail investments in China. Prior to joining Bain Capital, she served as a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Harvard Management Company, where she was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring, negotiating, and managing HMC’s global real estate investments. Before joining Harvard, she was a Project Manager in the Boston office of Bovis Lend Lease.
Kavindi holds an MBA in real estate and finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS magna cum laude in civil engineering and architectural engineering from Drexel University, where she was an Anthony Drexel Scholar and H.P. Mains Memorial Scholar. She serves on the Board of the Samuel Zell and Robert Lurie Real Estate Center at the Wharton School and on the Governing Board of Trustees at the Urban Land Institute.
