This past July, the Real Estate Department welcomed Benjamin J. Keys onto their faculty as an Assistant Professor. Ben holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan. He was formerly an Assistant Professor at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, Co-Director of the Kreisman Initiative on Housing Law and Policy, University of Chicago, and Faculty Research Fellow, National Bureau of Economic Research. Keys’ research interests include household finance, real estate, applied econometrics, labor economics, and urban economics.
