2023-2024: The Year in Review
In the fall we welcomed the Class of 2027 to campus.
This year's Ballard Executive Speaker Program brought 14 industry leaders to speak with our students.
The Grayken Program in International Real Estate: Singapore Meeting, at the Raffles Hotel, in Singapore.
The Center mourned the loss of Anita Summers.
Research Sponsors met for a dinner with guest speaker Greg Davis.
The Fall Members’ Meeting was held on October 27, 2023, at the Inn at Penn.
Research Sponsors met for a dinner and moderated talk at Gabriel Kreuther Restaurant in New York City.
The Center launched its Young Professional Breakfast Series.
Our Career Mentor Program connected 85 mentors with 122 student mentees.
The Center held a Career Search “Meet and Greet” on campus and was followed by a virtual career fair.
The Center hosted a virtual Argus training for students.
The five student real estate Clubs held many treks and club events.
The Eric and Beth Schlager Lecture Series featured James Cohen, Chief Executive Officer & Chairman, Hudson Capital Properties.
The Helfand/Bluhm Fellowships provided grants to students to offset the cost of job seeking and professional development.
The Spring Members’ Meeting was held at The Rittenhouse Hotel.
There were changes to the Executive Committee.
We congratulated this year’s student scholarship and award winners.
Dr. Marja Hoek-Smit taught a Housing Finance Course for Sub-Saharan Africa in April.
Center Director Joe Gyourko was a guest on the Ripple Effect Podcast.
We hosted our tenth annual Grayken Program in International Real Estate event in London.
In May we said farewell to the Class of 2024.
