Bill Martin is President of Marehall Advisors, serving real estate investors, owners and tenants. Through 2014 he was a Director of Hunt Investment Management and a Managing Director of its Real Estate Equity Group. From 2001, under Hunt and prior investors' ownership, the Equity Group created funds and separate accounts with over $1.5 billion of equity commitments. The group acquired and managed over $5 billion of diversified real estate investments. His experience includes over 23 years as an owner of Radnor Advisors, responsible for equity investment, acquisitions, development and consulting for institutional and private equity clients including Princeton University, the Ford Foundation, The Vanguard Group, REITs and banking organizations. He was also Executive Director of the Advisory Group at Insignia/ESG (now CBRE). Mr. Martin received a BS in Civil Engineering from Villanova, an MBA from the Wharton School (Real Estate Fellow) and a Master of Taxation from Villanova and is a Registered Engineer and Land Planner. He is a trustee of a private equity family office founded in 1916 and has served as board member and chair of local non-profits including Philadelphia area Y's and as an advisor to Villanova's international service learning program. He is currently advisor to and partner with Radnor Property Group and the Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral in the development of 3737 Chestnut St, a new 276-unit apartment building with related office, retail and day care space.
