Barkha Saxena is the Chief Data Officer at Poshmark where she drives overall data strategy, analytics, science, machine learning and data application development. With over 20 years of experience in leading and building large teams to create data science and machine learning data products, her charter at Poshmark is to ensure every aspect of the business is data driven, and benefits from the latest data innovations. Before joining Poshmark, Barkha was VP of Data Science at comScore where she focused on building machine learning-based digital media buying products. She started her data science career at FICO where she was a co-founder of the Strategy Science team, and later held various leadership roles in her 10 year tenure. Barkha is also a leader in the data community; in 2019, she co-founded Elevate Data to bring together data leaders into thought leadership and knowledge sharing discussions to elevate the role of data across all organizations and industries. Barkha holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an MA in Statistics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, along with a joint BS & MS in Statistics from the Indian Institute of Technology at Kanpur.
