Edward Siskind

Founder & CEO, Cale Street Partners LLP

Ed is the Founder and CEO of Cale Street Partners (“CSP”), a real estate investment and finance firm established in 2014, in partnership with the Kuwait Investment Office, the London branch of the Kuwait Investment Authority. CSP has a unique and broad mandate, focused on providing bespoke capital solutions, both debt and equity, to facilitate large and complex real estate developments, acquisitions and joint ventures. The mandate encompasses all major real estate asset classes, with a geographic focus on Western Europe, the UK and North America.
Prior to founding CSP, Ed enjoyed a 23 year career at Goldman, Sachs & Co., both in the United States and the United Kingdom, where he held a variety of leadership positions including Global Head of the Real Estate Principal Investment Area and Co-Head of European Merchant Bank. He also served as Chairman of the Global Real Estate Investment Committee and on the European Management and Mortgage Capital Committees.
Ed currently serves as a Global Governing Trustee of the Urban Land Institute, a multidisciplinary real estate forum for industry leaders and policy makers, and as a member of (i) the Advisory Board of Bridges Fund Management, a pioneer in impact, inclusive and sustainable investing (ii) and the Investment Committee of the Courtauld Institute of Art (with responsibility for their real estate assets portfolio).
Ed is also a member of President’s Advisory Council for Princeton University and the University of Cambridge Land Economy Advisory Board. He is a past member of the Steering Committee of Harvard University’s Real Estate Academic Initiative and has lectured on international real estate investment at the University of Pennsylvania’s Zell Lurie Real Estate Centre. Ed graduated from Princeton University with honours in 1988.
