Jake is the founder and CEO of Endeavour, a sustainable infrastructure company that is partnering with cloud companies, utilities, logistics and critical facility operators to build a gigawatt-scale network of zero-carbon data centers, microgrids and EV charging facilities. Jake is a seasoned entrepreneur with a long history of creating sustainable solutions for mission-critical projects. He founded Skanska Mission Critical in 2001 and later founded Aligned Energy, which grew rapidly into a multi-billiondollar company. In 2019, Carnemark founded Endeavour to develop and scale a new generation of decentralized technologies with the potential to make clean energy and water accessible to communities worldwide. Endeavour is currently building a global network of sustainable data centers, including the world’s first Tier 1 frequencyresponsive data center microgrid, and developing a nationwide network of carbonneutral EV charging stations for logistics and heavy vehicles. The Endeavour team is backed by the largest supply chain ever assembled to deliver edge infrastructure on demand. EMPLOYMENT HISTORY Skanska USA Building – Mission Critical, New York, NY Senior Vice President • Grew the international construction firm’s mission-critical business. • Held full P&L responsibility and $2B+ in overall projects. • Managed 50-80 employees. • Worked on many large-scale complex projects, including building the first installation of Canadian-based TELUS’ smart, ultra-green modular data center, which resulted in an 80% decrease in operational costs. • Managed ongoing data center engineering and construction projects for the following companies: • IBM: Over 700 projects over 10+ years: Sterling Forest, NY; Southbury, CT; Gaithersburg, MD; Dallas, TX; Corporate HQ Campus • ATT: Ongoing management of sites throughout the Midwest. • MCI WorldCom: Billerica, MA; Franklin Township, NJ; MCI WorldCom Technology Campus • Verizon: Basking Ridge, NJ; New York, NY • Royal Bank of Canada: Two critical data center campuses, Stratford and Guelph • Lenovo: Santa Clara, CA; Raleigh, NC • Goldman Sachs: Bridgewater, NJ • eBay: Salt Lake City, UT • JPMC: Upgrades to Delaware CDC Campus utilizing Inertech Cooling Infrastructure Aligned Energy Founder and CEO • Oversaw an integrated group of four innovative companies—Energy Metrics, Inertech, Karbon Engineering and Aligned Data Centers—all committed to improving data center building infrastructure, energy consumption and water usage. • Responsible for directing the overall strategy for the company, raising more than $3 billion of capital and helping to lower the cost and resources needed to run data centers by more than 50%.
