Dalmar Sheikh

Dalmar joined Data Sphere Advisory on October 1st, 2024 as the managing director of the business to work along with the Blackstone team in executing data center strategies that unsure we stay ahead of industry standards and align with the broader objectives in digital infrastructure investments.
Dalmar brings over 25years of experience in the digital infrastructure space specifically in data centre infrastructure expansion, investments, strategic business development, sales and operations.
Prior to joining Data Sphere Advisory, he worked at global investor Actis as Global Head of Data Centre Operations. Dalmar worked at Amazon for 10 years in several senior management roles. His most recently role there was APAC Regional Leader of AWS’ data centre infrastructure expansion and investment. Prior to that role, Dalmar helped launch AWS’ cloud region in South Africa as the Infrastructure Country Manager and he was also the head of AWS infrastructure operations for the Japan region. He lived in Japan for 18 years and, prior to joining Amazon, was managing director of sales and business development for Colt Data Centre, where he helped launch their first hyperscale data centre in 2009.
