Gillian Cho
President, CanTex Capital
As President of CanTex Capital, Gillian works with the team across all aspects of the business to grow the platform, building on its deep expertise as an owner-operator, developer and manager of industrial real estate.
Prior to joining CanTex, Gillian was Head of Investment Management at Amherst where she focused on managing and growing AUM in its single-family rental, commercial real estate and mortgage-backed securities businesses. Previously, as Chief Operating Officer of Crow Holdings Gillian was responsible for building the corporate infrastructure to facilitate growth, driving operational effectiveness and efficiencies, and engaging in business development and capital raising activities.
Gillian spent the decade prior to that engaged in multifamily and mixed-use development in the Bay Area and New York, as a Managing Director at Trammell Crow Residential and a Vice President of Development at Extell Development Company. She started her career at Bain & Company in their London and New York offices advising clients in the US, UK, and continental Europe on corporate strategy, organization, and operations.
Gillian obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Oxford and her MBA from Harvard Business School.
