Achal Sakaria
Managing Director, Goldman Sachs
Achal Sakaria is a managing director in the Real Estate Group in Investment Banking, where he advises public and private real estate companies on mergers and acquisitions and financing opportunities. He also leads the firm’s coverage of the data center sector. Achal joined Goldman Sachs in 2018 as a vice president in the Real Estate Group and was named managing director in 2021.
Prior to joining the firm, Achal worked in the Real Estate Investment Banking group at Citigroup Global Markets. Before that, he worked at Science Applications International Corporation as a research engineer.
Achal earned a BS in Electrical Engineering in 2003 and an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2005 from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He earned an MBA from Columbia Business School in 2011.
