The Real Estate Department is pleased to welcome Sophie Calder-Wang as an Assistant Professor of Real Estate this Fall. Professor Calder-Wang's current research focuses on understanding how digital technology affects economic outcomes in the real economy, including the housing market. She uses and develops tools from the empirical industrial organization literature to answer these questions. Professor Calder-Wang received her Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University and an Undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Princeton University.
