Spencer B. Haber

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, H/2 Capital Partners LLC

Spencer B. Haber is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of H/2 Capital Partners, and Founder and Chairman of H/3 Foundation Inc. Since its inception, H/2 and its affiliates have completed over $50 billion of investments on behalf of leading investors, including pension funds, sovereign funds, insurance companies, foundations, and other institutions globally. As Chief Executive Officer, he is responsible for overseeing several aspects of H/2's activities, with a primary emphasis on managing risk, human capital development and the evaluation of prospective investments.

Mr. Haber is also the Founder and Chairman of H/3 Foundation Inc., a non-profit organization primarily focused on animal welfare and associated issues globally. Through H/3, he is actively involved in various animal welfare endeavors and related media projects, including the production and co-production of feature-length and short documentary films on animals, the environment and associated topics. Spencer is also a former member of the Board of Directors of the Humane Society of the United States, one of the country's largest animal protection organizations. 

Mr. Haber holds a bachelor's degree in economics, summa cum laude, from the Wharton School, where he was named a Benjamin Franklin Scholar, and a master's degree in business administration, also from the Wharton School, where he graduated a Palmer Scholar. He is past Chairman of the Executive Committee for Wharton's Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center. Spencer is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Pension Real Estate Association, the Advisory Board for Columbia Business School's Real Estate Program, and has previously served on the Board of Governors and as Chair of the Investor Forum for the CRE Finance Council.
