Jonathan Eilian is the Founder and Chairman of Atrium Holding Company, a private family investment office with a focus on acquiring underperforming and/or over-leveraged assets and companies in the hospitality and real estate sectors. Atrium owns, among other businesses, hotels, resorts and casinos with 22,000 rooms and 3 million square feet of meeting space across 29 states, primarily franchised under Marriott and Hilton brands and managed by Atrium Hospitality, LP. J.D. Power recently ranked Atrium Hospitality #1 in guest satisfaction among all third-party hotel management companies.
Mr. Eilian formed Atrium in 2001 following his tenure as Sr. Managing Director and Co-Head of Acquisitions of Starwood Capital Group, LLC, where he also served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (formerly NYSE: HOT) and the Board of Directors of iStar Inc. (NYSE: STAR). He also served on the Board of Directors of Keystone Property Trust (formerly NYSE: KTR). Mr. Eilian joined Starwood at its formation in 1991, after graduating from the Wharton School with a joint BS in Economics and MBA in Finance.
